DCNet Mentoring Program

Are you new to the political communications field and looking for ways to build your skills and advance your career? Do you want connect with experienced communication professionals on the Hill? Look no further than the Democratic Communicators Network mentoring program! Since 2008, DCNet has successfully “paired up” hundreds of Hill staffers in one-to-one relationships that help new communicators quickly get up to speed on the various aspects of their jobs.
About the Program:
Over the course of four months, participants will meet regularly to discuss topics like creating a media plan, holding successful press events, navigating office politics, and general career advice. Throughout the program, the DCNet team will follow up with participants to see how things are going.

Based on your preferences, we’ll match mentees and mentors who have common interests and qualities. Please note that previous mentors are welcome (and encouraged) to participate again. We would like to kick off the program next month, so please sign up by Wednesday, May 4th.
