Help plan DCNet programs

March 10, 2009

The Democratic Communicators Network (DCNet) brings hundreds of communications staffers–from the House, Senate, Executive Branch and off the Hill–together to share their personal expertise, learn new skills, brainstorm strategies and build alliances on and off the Hill in order to strengthen our message making team.

All DCNet events are planned by volunteer committees of staffers. This is a great way to offer leadership and to network with other staffers. If you are interested in joining one of the following planning committees, please contact the committee chair listed below:

Training Seminars on essential communications skills and strategies
Chair: Angela Barranco

Distinguished Speakers providing inside access to the nation’s top communicators
Chair: Nkenge Harmon

Roundtable Discussions to share practical press ideas and experiences
Chair: Emily Kryder

Networking Events to bring flacks from on and off the Hill together socially
Chair: Jesse Broder Van Dyke

Mentoring to partner new communications staffers with experienced communicators
Chair: Angela Guyadeen

Member Communications to expand DCNet’s online resources, jobs list, and email resources
Chair: Will Jenkins

Thanks for your help!
