As you and your staff are planning for the August work period, DCNet will host a roundtable discussion about Local Work Period Messaging on Monday, July 19, at 3:30 PM.

Since many of the best ideas are borrowed, DCNet is asking its members to look back at our recent July recess and previous district work periods and come prepared to share your thoughts about what messages and events worked for you on healthcare and economic recovery. What other issues and messages are playing well in your region?

This informal and off-the-record session will allow House and Senate press staff the opportunity to share successes and advice in small groups so that we can all take the best ideas with us into August.
