“Speed Dating” with TV Producers / Reporters / Bookers

WASHINGTON— On Friday, September 16, the DCNet Roundtable committee will host a “speed dating” session for Democratic communicators with television producers, reporters and bookers from the various networks that cover Capitol Hill.
Before the August break, DCNet gathered more than 70 Capitol Hill press secretaries together with television producers, reporters and bookers for a brief speed dating event. While the event was a success, some people were unable to attend because of the busy news day. On Friday, we will hold another event with expected representation from ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Bloomberg and others.
This will be a great opportunity to meet the reporters covering your bosses and start to build new relationships. Please remember to bring plenty of business cards.
