DCNet members welcomed the New Board over a drink and some finger foods — courtesy of iConstituent. We invited our GOP counterparts and the newly elected Board of the Republican Communications Association to join us.
A group of 25 of us toured the famous newsroom where Woodward and Bernstein worked to uncover Watergate and also sat down with an Outlook section editor, Lisa Bonos, and Congressional Correspondent Ed O’Keefe to learn about their work and ask questions. We learned how to submit opinion pieces and discussed best practices for pitching stories.
